The Brussels Artist-Run Website continues growing and taking shape. The map is showing spaces and initiatives without a (fixed) space, but there are more distinctions to make: what are these initiatives doing, what can one go do there, or are they not publicly accessible? So, a new functionality we will explore this afternoon: filters for the map to focus on specific functions and modes of interest. Which filters are useful? Artistic disciplines, what is offered, degrees of publicness, types of events? What do we want to show, what is needed to find? Indeed, the filters can become a search tool within the website in case they would be used as tags.
By exchanging about what we work on within our initiatives, we can explore what we want to use the website for. And by thinking about the website´s potential functions we can get to know each other´s practices better.
Bring your friends, bring your hands! We´ll have drinks and snacks.
