Through the Looking Class is a project by Marc Buchy :  a speakeasy cinema, a temporary space where images, words and gazes circulate through a speculative rewriting of the History of cinema. Between archive and sharing, Marc Buchy works from the hypothesis that changing the images that constitute us is how we will change the world. By proposing other narratives and other ways of watching them together, he seeks to bring forth a community of gaze — a looking class that disrupts hierarchies and defines itself through attention to what has been rendered invisible.

From July 1st to 7th, doors open every evening at 6pm. Screenings of short and feature films take place daily at 8pm, with selections entrusted to guest programmers: Alicja Melzacka, Timour Sanli, Panos Tripolitsiotis, HaYoung, Antoinette Jattiot, Soto Labor & Nadjim Bigou Fathi and Deniz Erdem. Food on site every evening.
