DomestiCity is a socially engaged artist-run space based in Laken, Brussels.

We open up the basement of our house for neighbours, friends, passerby for artistic and reflective activities and events linked to craft - slowing down - working together - dialogue. In 2025 we will reshape the collective into a living (room) library where we gather and pass on (embodied) knowledge about crafts - commonism - micro-politics. We want to redefine where knowledge can be found and believe in learning by doing/making. Every two weeks we organise a public gathering where we work together on the project. This can be building a public bench, discovering a knitting machine, making some fermethings, etc. [here you can add your input, linked to your interests/knowledge]
