On the 3rd of October, we open the season and blow out a candle. Together, singular and simultaneously abundant. Abundant to the point of overflowing. Until we no longer know where one ends and the other begins. Tasty performances and dubious dishes. All of it delicious, bony, brave, strange, difficult, radical, shamelessly shameful, intense, out of place, full and submissive. A journey that sticks to your fingers. Because the pleasure of eating connects us to a greater pleasure. Something we might eat, perhaps. Or something that eats us!
Thiago Antunes
Department of Frozen Affairs is a temporary office where service, care and administration become entangled. I like to imagine fictional institutions where care, bodily experience and connection become part of the machinery. Something between service and ceremony, hospitality and authority. A department devoted to affairs that might melt.
Spring Showers
In Can we come at the same time, Spring is longing for intimacy with another after years without genuine touch. It unfolds as a tender invitation for a date with the audience, or perhaps something beyond. Held between exposure and longing, the work traces the fragile space between the body that is seen, desired, and still feels alone. Nakedness becomes both shield and question: how to ask for closeness when everyone thinks they already know you? It’s a hopeful encounter with desire, distance and the courage to ask.

Rebecca Dorothy
Italian photographer Rebecca explores the body and sensuality in an ocean of overwhelming colours, delving into the most intimate and secret moments of lovers, friends and acquaintances. Her photographs tell stories that blur the lines between reality and fantasy, love and passion, nudity and fashion.
Brenda Boote Bidal
In Not All Charms Fly, Brenda shifts our imaginaries and questions the relationships between vulnerability, power and identity. Her artistic research explores the dynamics of gaze and power that shape female bodies, at the intersection of contemporary dance, performance and installation.
Vasco Bauerle
Between cooking and creation, Vasco explores fermentation, seasonal produce and recipes that travel. For our anniversary, he brings out spoons big and small and prepares a meal for us to share.
Lucas Roman
Between art, science and fermentation, Lucas Roman explores the transformations of matter. For our anniversary, he is preparing a kombucha fountain: an experience to drink and share.
Micha Goldberg
The Saint of cake delivery Jitita Humula Caminata was in the ancient days almost looked upon as a dream catcher. Because they delivered the sugar after the salty food. They came with the point after the phrase. Or as many people saw it Jitita and their cakes was the trampoline into dizzy and dramatic nights.
Micha or Michita will embody Jitita for the one year happy birthday of Metarage.
